There are going to be a few changes starting in May at the daycare.
We are sad to say that Vicky has decided to take some time off from the daycare and Jaklynn has taken employment elsewhere.. We are happy to have Terissa Prince and Nicole Bangs returning. Terissa and Nicole will both be in the baby room.
In the Turtle room Kami will be joined by Gwen, some families have gotten to know Gwen already!
We understand that this is quite a change. Please stop in at the office if you have questions or concerns. We will do our best to keep the families up to date on the changes at the daycare to make you feel as comfort-able as possible. We apologize if anyone feels ―out of the loop.
Busy, Busy, Busy
We are advising all families to hand in their monthly planners as soon as possible!! On average we have 50 children a day including the before and after school program children. We are excited to have so many
new families registering to the daycare. However it is harder to book in children daily so please try to book your children in as soon as possible.
Warm Weather is upon us!
Its getting hot out!!! All parents are required to bring their children hats everyday! Please send shorts and short sleeved t-shirts and if it gets hot out we can change them into more appropriate clothes.
With warmer weather comes the days of applying sunscreen and bug spray. Each family to bring in a bottle of sunscreen or bug spray will receive credit towards their volunteer hours.
Spring Fundraisers
This spring we will be focusing our fundraising efforts or generating funds to improve our outdoor play space. This initative is required to align our outdoor areas with the Play and Exploration program. One of the fundraisers will be a raffler, we are currently looking for donations or discounts on items to raffle. A big thank you goes out to Mike and Debbie Dirven for their donation of an outdoor play house!!! Some other items for prizes were a BBQ with some beef.
If anyone knows of or is willing to donate something please let me know!!
June Daze Carnival
We are once again hosting our Annual June Daze Carnival on June 9th! There will be a sign up sheet located in the main entrance to sign up for volunteering!!! Keep posted for further information!
If anyone has suggestions for fundraisers please let us know.
